Great management over the past ~2 years at Director and Asst levels. Putting new Meridian $ into much needed facility upgrades. Building is a little worn around the edges when compared to other Charlotte area facilities, but is improving. This is the only reason for 4 stars vs 5 stars at this juncture. Not having to up-front "buy" your apartment for six figures and then ALSO pay high monthly rent is a plus when compared to similarly demographically located places.

Very nice retirement and assistant living center. The property is very welcoming with charming buildings, landscaping & rooms. The staff is very friendly, helpful and attentive. Nice residents with a lot of activities to choose from. We had a nice visit!

I visited a number of retirement facilities around south Charlotte and Providence Rd areas and when I toured MerryWood on Park I knew this was the place for my sister. It is bright, clean, updated apartments, many activities, and the personnel are the friendliest, cheerful, and most helpful I have ever seen!

I previously lived in this community and have many fond memories of my time here. I returned to visit friends for lunch and an afternoon of Mahjong, and it was wonderful to be back. The warm, welcoming atmosphere that I remembered is still here, and it was great to see familiar faces and reconnect with friends.

The community is well-maintained, the staff is caring and friendly, and there are plenty of activities to keep residents engaged. My visit reminded me why I enjoyed living there so much. I would highly recommend this community to anyone looking for a friendly and supportive independent or assisted living environment.

As we considered a move into an independent living community for my mom, we visited multiple properties. None of them stood out like MerryWood on Park. Simply put, there is a vibrancy and true sense of community that is welcoming, inclusive, and inspiring.

My mom moved to MerryWood on Park a few months ago and has just blossomed. She is taking advantage of many offerings within and outside the community. She is happy, engaged, and feels safe.

We knew we made the right decision the day we signed the lease, but seeing my mom thriving confirms that belief.

We visited my father-in-law today and what a lovely place. He moved out from Los Angeles so Merrywood on Park had serious standards to live up to - and boy did they deliver. It’s so clean and welcoming from the front entrance and throughout.

My mother (81) has been at Merrywood on Park for four months. She has thrived at this community. The best part about this community is the people. They are very welcoming. It is hard to explain but when you visit, you will definitely catch the vibe if it’s for you. The activities are plentiful and there is something for everyone should you choose to join. The staff is wonderful and helpful. All of the people that live here had their choice of communities and they all chose Merrywood. The apartments are very spacious compared to some of the other communities and the 2br porches are really nice.

Pricing

Choosing the right senior living community is both an emotional and a financial decision. Our team is here to make the process as clear and straightforward as possible.

As a monthly rental community, we offer the flexibility of an annual residency agreement without the large upfront entrance fee. Monthly apartment rates vary based on type, location, and features, and you can view starting apartment prices on our floor plans page.

For residents in assisted living and personal care, monthly care fees are tiered and determined by a nurse’s assessment.
